Laboratory Technician Comprehensive Programme for 2020
There are only about 10 spaces still available in the Laboratory Technician Comprehensive Programme for all of 2020, so interested students should apply promptly.
For years, 100% of Kiwi participants have had laboratory jobs (or offers) before they finish the programme. International participants have to wait for visas, then they too get laboratory jobs.
NZEA Level 2 (or equivalent) with some chemistry knowledge is required for entry. Participants are awarded a Level 4 certificate partway through, and a Level 6 diploma at the end of the programme, which is 60 weeks of study.
The programme is great for students who prefer hands-on science to theory.
StudyLink, FeesFree and scholarships are available.
Each participant has a training placement in a high quality testing or research laboratory. They have many Partnering Laboratories, so placements are available near 86% of Kiwis.
